The second release from Todd Stapleton comes in the form of a five song EP titled Perspectives Électroniques, five improvisations recorded during July of 2017. This collection of improvised pieces for synthesizer, electronics and piano, was conceptualized as a study of the different aspects of experiencing sound as an expression of art. Five improvisations focusing on the subtle, delicate use of acoustic and electronic sound in both abstract and linear form, creating the layered orchestrations of these improvisational works which explore the relationship between sound, silence, focus, perception and the act of listening.
